Hello loyal readers! I have decided to start posting some of my work that doesn’t always get to be seen on a regular basis or that is not published anywhere else. Some of the shots will be great and some… well, not so great. I just want to share some of my successes and some of my failures (because I usually learn more from my failures than my successes!).

So we are going to start out with an older shot that some of you may have seen before. I took this shot while on a sunset cruise in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. We were out on this great little sailing ship and I happened to look up and see one of the deck hands working with some of the rigging. I managed to snap a few shots in that moment but this one is the one that I liked the most.

For any of you interested in camera settings here they are:
Focal Length: 114 mm
Lens: 28-200mm
White balance: Auto
ISO: 200
Flash: Did not fire

Happy Shooting!

I’ve always thought these kinds of photos are fascinating…it’s something I’d like to try.
